7 Lessons that you gain from freelancing

1. Trust yourself

Before anything else, you need to trust yourself first. Help yourself build confidence and decision-making skills. Believe in yourself that you can do it. It’s okay that you doubt yourself sometimes because it’s natural but just remember that if others can do it then you can do it too. If you fail, don’t feel discriminated against. Stand up and believe in yourself instead. Don’t stop believing and putting trust in yourself because there’s no one else who can do about it except yourself.

2. Learn how to be organized

Try to organize everything including your tasks, goals, milestone, objectives and time. Organizing these can help you eliminate stress and will put yourself away from being negative. This will also help you execute your tasks properly. Just focus on what you need to do and try to declutter it.

3. Share

Share your knowledge and experiences with others. For them to gain the skills and abilities they lack. It can also help boost their self-esteem.

4. Learn when to say no or yes

You know yourself better than others. Learn when to say no or yes. Identify the situation and decide critically, thinking about the possible results of your action. If you believe that you cannot take the situation, learn to deny the favor or task.

5. Take the risk

Facing your fear helps you grow into a better or new version of yourself. You may fail sometimes but it won’t define that you are not enough being a freelancer. At least you did your best and try just to keep trying.

6. Don’t compare yourself to others

Comparing yourself to others will not give good results in your life. Try to understand that you are different, that you have your own strengths and weaknesses and you are unique. Don’t waste your time comparing yourself to others. Spend your time focusing on how to achieve your goals in life.

7. Know your worth

You must know your worth in everything especially when you invest time and effort. If you value the company/client, you will feel satisfied with everything that you did for them. Nothing is worth trying than making other people smile.
